Calligraphy & Ink

I am deeply interested in mindfulness and view it as a core pursuit in my life. To me, traditional Chinese calligraphy is a way of meditation. It also inspires my projects like Naturality and Ink Harmony.

My practice of traditional Chinese calligraphy, exploring masterpieces from different dynasties:

Preface to the Orchid Pavilion Text & Style by Wang Xizhi (Jin Dynasty).
Known as the "Zenith of Running Script," expressing the joy of gathering and the sorrow of transience.

Crossing the Sea Post Text & Style by Su Shi (Song Dynasty).
Written upon leaving Hainan, often regarded as his last masterpiece marking the end of his exile.

Autobiography (Zixu Tie) - Ver. I Text & Style by Huaisu (Tang Dynasty).
"Wild Cursive" script. The brush moves like a snake, expressing unrestrained freedom and speed.

Another interpretation of the erratic and flowing strokes characteristic of the Wild Cursive style.

A magnificent prose describing the grandeur of the scenery and the ambition of youth.

Poetry & Narrative

"Writing is the painting of the voice."
My writings fall into three categories: original fiction, literary criticism, and competition entries. This passion also deeply influences my research, inspiring my projects like Simonstown. I am currently experimenting with Human-AI Co-writing to explore new narrative boundaries.

  A dystopian romance set in a city corroded by acid rain. It explores how environmental disasters reshape human intimacy, sensory perception (smell), and social prejudice against the "Rotten People."
  Mickey V's Chocolate Factory

  A modern fable reflecting on Artificial Intelligence. Through the metaphor of a surreal chocolate factory run by an "Octopus" and an "Elephant," it questions the tension between algorithmic efficiency and artistic intuition.

  Analyzing how the conflicting roles of a ruler and a poet shaped the melancholic style of Wei Dynasty poetry.
